Its common name is "grooved otiorhyncus " because its carapace is deeply marked by grooves along its length.
Once again damages caused by this insect are more aesthetic than fatal. However it is not the same thing with its larva.
Otiorhyncus is resistant to insecticides. The better one is called ORTHENE but it is possible that you can not buy it. Some products are forbidden to sell for people because they are dangerous or (and) polluting but your neighbouring farmer can use it by 5 litre cans with whom you can enter into negotiations.
