A few pests.

A few pests.

The pest which comes back every year as soon as favourable conditions exist is the aphid.
It can pullulate. It sucks the sap through a long proboscis with moving mouth parts which it inserts into the veins carrying the sap. In this picture you can see them along the midrib, where maximum sap is in transit.
Leaves receiving less food show growth problems that exhibit important deformations of their structure.
This is not at all dangerous for the plant but the aesthetic injury maybe very important and we advise treatment.
Use alternately two systemic insecticides to avoid a possible tolerance.
