This is a textbook example of chlorosis :
the leaf is yellowish and the veins through which the sap runs are green.
The main reason for this chlorosis can be a lack of iron, magnesium or potassium. That does not mean your soil is out of them. A careful analysis shows the old leaves were healthy so it is impossible that your soil lacked these essential componants suddenly. The reason is, it is more plausible your rhododendron was not able to assimilate the iron, the magnesium or the potassium because your soil was too dry when the plant has need of them. So don't waste your money by buying all sorts of supplies. You just need to keep your soil fresh.
