The fall of leaves is more or less important according the species or the
hybrids. Many fungi are responsible for powdery mildew and all of them are parasites that weaken the guest plant and the neighbours too which they succeed in infecting. 
You must treat the problem.Several products are available : - DITHANE with mancozeb. - NIMROD T with bupirimate. - SYSTHANE with myclobutanil. Treat in the middle of summer in case of infection from last year or, of course, in case of attack. Repeat the treatment for 2 weeks for 3 months.
If you do not find one of these products use a fungicide for corns.
